Right of withdrawal
When you may withdraw, how to declare it and what happens afterwards — separately for tripbot Pro and travel bookings.
You have the right to withdraw from the contract for the tripbot Pro membership within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded. To exercise your right of withdrawal you must inform us of your decision by an unequivocal statement. To meet the deadline it is sufficient that you send your statement before the period expires.
There is no right of withdrawal for booked accommodation or transport. The law expressly excludes contracts for accommodation other than for residential purposes and for the carriage of passengers where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance (§ 312g (2) no. 9 BGB).
Whether and at what cost you can cancel a hotel or flight booking therefore depends solely on the fare conditions of the respective service provider. Those conditions are shown to you before booking; the cancellation itself is made in the booking management area.
This instruction therefore applies only to tripbot Pro — the service we sell in our own name.
The simplest way is the form on this page. You immediately receive a confirmation with a reference number at the email address you provide. That confirmation records receipt, and with it that the deadline was met.
An unequivocal statement by email to legal@trytripbot.com or by post to Nico Neser, Einzelunternehmer, Moorweg 10, 91325 Adelsdorf, Germany is equally sufficient. You may use the model withdrawal form printed below, but you do not have to.
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal.
We will use the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In no event will you be charged any fees as a result of this reimbursement.
The section that follows describes what additionally applies to tripbot Pro.
With tripbot Pro your right of withdrawal remains. At purchase, however, we ask for your express statement that performance should begin immediately, and at the same time we tell you that a withdrawal then carries compensation for value.
If you have given that statement and you withdraw, you must pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of the service already provided up to the withdrawal, compared with the full scope of the service provided for in the contract (§ 357a (2) BGB). We calculate it pro rata by the days used within the current billing period and refund the remainder.
Without that statement you owe no compensation and we refund in full.
Withdrawal and cancellation are different declarations. Withdrawal unwinds the contract retroactively within the period; cancellation ends it at the end of the current billing period. You can cancel at any time through “Cancel contracts here”.
If you wish to withdraw from the contract, you may fill in this form and return it to us. You do not have to use it — the form at the top of this page serves the same purpose.
