8,0„Location was very convenient for exploring the city, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The highlight for me was the bed—it was incredibly comfortable and we slept really well! The only downside was that the room was quite small, and the overall décor and atmosphere felt a little dated and not really my personal style. Overall, it’s a good and comfortable hotel with a great location, lovely staff, and an amazing bed.“

10,0„Friendly breakfast staff and a good breakfast · Unfortunately, our stay at the hotel was quite disappointing and did not meet the standards I would expect from a five-star property. We booked a room for three people and specifically requested one large bed when making the reservation on Booking.com. However, upon arrival, we were first given a room with two separate beds. After we complained, we were moved to another room, which was extremely small — it was barely suitable for one person, let alone three. Only after contacting the hotel again and insisting on a solution were we finally given a spacious room with a large bed, as originally requested. It was very frustrating to have to go through three different rooms just to receive what we had actually booked. The receptionist was also quite rude and argumentative instead of simply trying to resolve the issue. There was also a problem with housekeeping. On one of the days, our room was not cleaned at all. I specifically called the reception in the morning to request housekeeping after noticing that the room had not been serviced. Despite this, no one came to clean the room during the day. It was only late in the evening, after a long discussion with the staff, that they finally took away the rubbish and brought us fresh towels. The staff’s main explanation was that some “Do Not Disturb” button had been activated. However, the “Please make up my room” sign was hanging on the door throughout the entire day. I have no idea what button they were referring to, and if the electronic “Do Not Disturb” function is a reason not to clean the room, then it is unclear why the hotel provides a physical sign requesting housekeeping — and, more importantly, why the room was not cleaned after I had specifically called reception to request it. Overall, we had the impression that the staff were more focused on arguing with guests and proving that they were right than on actually helping and resolving problems.“
